More than 60 small business owners that own and operate food trucks in NYC.

The New York City Food Truck Association is an advocacy association focused on innovation in hospitality, high quality food, and community development. Social media is an integral component in staying connected to the millions who call NYC home, the millions more visiting each day and it was necessary in orchestrating the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts throughout the entire month of November 2012.

Faced with fierce competition from both restaurants and fellow food truck vendors, challenged by outdated city policies, and subject to sometimes extreme weather conditions, NYC food truck owners are pioneers in the street food frontier. Having the ability to interact directly with their community of eight million plus is paramount to their growth and success as culinary innovators… and the thousands of New Yorkers who use social media to locate the trucks each day appreciate it, too.
