HOW PEOPLE BUILD SOFTWARE.

NURTURING ONLINE COMMUNITIES FOR INDIVIDUALS AND TEAMS TO WRITE FASTER, BETTER CODE.

GitHub is the best place to share code with friends, co-workers, classmates, and complete strangers. Over 31 million people use GitHub to build amazing things together across 97+ million repositories. With all the collaborative features of GitHub, it has never been easier for individuals and teams to write faster, better code.

GitHub has grown exponentially since its founding in 2008 and we are thrilled to have been a part of its evolution in the spring and summer of 2018. This was a critical time for the company as it announced its acquisition by Microsoft and began to transition into this role while steadfastly maintaining its presence as the trusted and forward-thinking brand its users have built together over the past decade. From April-August 2018, we worked closely with many teams to establish a clear and consistent voice in GitHub's social media communities and to set goals for growth. We achieved this by performing extensive community data analytics, providing social media organization and restructuring, and building out a strategy that best serves its passionate, invested, and differentiated online communities.

We are honored to have worked so closely with the many brilliant minds that make GitHub the incredible company it is.
